The Ethnic Art Troupe of Garze Prefecture in southwest China’s Sichuan province presented people of Bulgaria and Slovenia with an exquisite “cultural feast” from Feb. 15 to 25, 2013, raising an enthusiasm for Tibetan culture. The performances include five themed shows and about sixty ethnic programs.

The Garze Prefectural government has received a thank-you letter from China's embassy in Bulgaria, which writes the spectacular Tibetan song and dance performances have fostered stronger Sino-Bulgaria ties.

“The performances thrilled the audience with beautiful melody, dance and costumes; meanwhile, the perfect artistic and innovative programs cater to everyone’s taste,” said Zhang Xianyi, Chinese Ambassador to Slovenia.

Unique Gampa culture

The exquisite Gampa dances such as the Gorchom circle dance, Reba and tap dance bring people in both countries the happiness of Tibetans.

“This is one of the best Tibetan shows I have ever seen,” said Sensen, the former Slovenia Ambassador to China.
