From June 19 to 20, the sixth Minhui Tea House guqin party was held at Dajue Temple, a former imperial temple in the western part of Beijing. Different from former parties held there, the theme was “Serendipity.”
Serendipity brought many guqin fans together in Minhui for guqin performances by distinguished players such as guqin master of Intangible Cultural Heritage in China Gong Yi, famous guqin player who performed at the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympics Chen Leiji, well-known guqin player and singer Qiao Shan, and noted guqin artist Wang Peng.
