Lunar New Year Gala at Columbia University

Students of Columbia University put on a Lunar New Year Gala on Sunday on campus in New York. A mix of Chinese and Western culture was presented through videos, crosstalk, kuaiban, sketch comedy, drama, songs and dance.Chinese Consul General of New York Zhang Qiyue attended the gala and wished all students and faculties a Happy New Year. 'Happy Chinese New Year' is a worldwide activity for celebrating the traditional Chinese Spring Festival. In its seventh year, over 2,100 cultural activities will be held in over 400 cities across more than 140 countries and regions worldwide.
