Sri Lanka celebrates Chinese New Year

Students from the CRI Confucius Classroom performed Chinese folk dances, including the Red Silk Dance and Peacock Dance. A short comic drama and Chinese and Sri Lankan classic music were also featured.

The gala is one of the "2016 Happy Chinese New Year" events in the country. The Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka, the Chinese Cultural Center there and the CRI Confucius Classroom organized the event.
