2月7日晚，圣彼得堡著名地标性建筑——冬宫桥将上700多盏中国传统红灯笼将被点亮。此外，还将首次在市中心亚历山大花园和新马涅什广场点亮300只灯笼，覆盖人数有望达到20万人次。圣市政府计划于中国友城北京、上海、广州举办电视桥活动，市长将通过电视向友城市民恭祝新年。文化部组派的河南省艺术团将在2月中旬赴圣市演出，门票全部公开销售。

Another 300 are also to be lit in the Alexander Garden and Manesh Square; Mayors from St. Petersburg, Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou will make New Year's call through TV; Henan Art Troupe will perform in St. Petersburg in mid-February.
