Lunar New Year – A tale of two capitals

2014年的除夕夜也是在工作日,但是人们已经开始庆祝春节了。因为许多的北京居民都长途跋涉地回老家了,因此北京城空了一半。我一个北京朋友的咖啡馆因一个私人的除夕夜晚餐而依旧营业。当午夜来临的时候,我看到了许许多多的烟花——之后的几天里,我仍然看见了许多的烟花!在春节期间,很少有店铺营业的。雍和宫会举办传统的节日庙会,许多人都会来参加——警察关闭了雍和宫地铁站,并在很长一段时间里都设置了控制人流的护栏。我们还去了地坛的节日庙会,这里有好多卖纪念品的摊位。地坛附近很少有餐馆在营业,我们去了其中一家仍在营业的,拿着排位号我们在外面足足等了50分钟。北京的市中心有很多人,但是很少有店铺营业提供服务。

两个国家的首都,一个节日,两种不同的庆祝方式!
