Beijing’s eating customs during Rain Water  

People in Beijing have a custom of eating porridge cooked with rehmannia glutinosa libosch, the root of fangfeng and perilla. This is also a good custom to keep people keep fit during this period.

The ingredient of rehmannia glutinosa libosch can reinforce insufficiencies. In addition, other ingredients can be added, such as ginger, goat kidneys, leek and salt.
