In northern and northeast China, the weather is generally clear enough for people to watch the lanterns float through the sky and admire the moon. Recently, a great deal of cold air has been active throughout northern China, but it is weak and powerless, so the temperature did not change a lot. These days, another kind of cold air is invading into our country that brings a two-to-four-degree Celsius drop in temperature. The temperature of the middle part of Inner Mongolia and the north of Hei Long River province has decreased by eight to ten degrees Celsius.

However, in most of southern China, people have to view the lanterns in the rain. Meteorologists and technicians explain that the rainfall is caused by the collective effect of east winds and southwest winds, and the rainfall is not too much.
