Ruins of Suoyang City to be evaluated for World Heritage list

Photo taken on July 22, 2013 shows the ruins of Suoyang City in Guazhou County, northwest China's Gansu Province. The ruins of Suoyang City is ready to meet the evaluation from experts for its access to the World Cultural Heritage list in August. Suoyang, which dates back to the Han Dynasty (202 BC-220 AD), was an ancient city on the "Silk Road", a route that facilitated Eurasia trade and cultural exchanges in ancient times.
