The couple trace the beginning of their works to a simple photograph of an ancient Chinese ceramic shard of the Song Dynasty, that they chanced upon in the 1960s.
All the sculptures on show have been made in a town in southern Sweden where the couple have been living and enjoying art for about 50 years. The beautiful natural environment there is a major inspiration for their work.
As Gustav Kraitz puts it: "Nothing can compare with the joy you feel when firing in the spring when the beech tree buds burst open.
It is a totally creative experience and that, I believe, is art."
