烧钱(shāo qián)

To burn money, used to describe someone who spends money very quickly

例:卓越网向众人宣布将为中国音像业打造一项全新大奖。为此卓越网开出1000万的赏金征集畅销影视音乐精品。这是卓越网在融资5000万之后推出的最大的一次“烧钱”活动。
