Villagers of Dong ethnic group pull a bull up a tree during the local Naoyu festival in Rongshui Ethnic Miao autonomous county, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region on Tuesday. During the festival celebrated every June 2 in the Chinese lunar calendar by Miao, Yao and Dong ethnic groups, people catch fish, and offer their prayers for good fortune, a bountiful harvest and peace, by stringing a bull up in a tree until it is strangled to death.
