Mount Lu
Mount Lu is one of the top 10 famous mountains in China and among the first batch of sites ranked as world geoparks. Mount Lu is located in Boyang Lake Basin in north Jiangxi Province of China. The oval-shaped mountain is about 25 kilometers long and 10 kilometers wide, with 90-plus stretching peaks serving as a protective shield for the north gate of Jiangxi like a nine-fold screen.
The Lu Mountains are a popular summer resort thanks to picturesque scenery and cool weather in the summer. Mt. Lu is especially famous for its three supreme sights: the sea of clouds, the waterfalls and the sheer cliffs. Waterfalls on the mountain are particularly well-known due to their clear water and abundant water flow. These waterfalls are mainly supplied by natural precipitation. The humid climate and plentiful rainfall on the mountain all year round ensure that there is enough water for the waterfalls.
