Chinese erhu player Deng Xiaomei and her band attracted nearly 200 people from home and abroad to the Chinese Cultural Centre in Berlin, Germany, at a concert themed as "a conversation of music" on June 26.

A variety of Western and Chinese songs were performed, including Chinese classics such as The Heavenly Road and My Hometown is Beijing.

The traditional Chinese erhu, blended with Western instruments, brought a new music to an enthusiastic audience.

After the concert, many audience members bought CDs and sought autographs from Deng and band members.
