Xi, Sharif unveil cultural center’s nameplate in Islamabad

Chinese President Xi Jinping, who was paying a state visit to Pakistan, and Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif unveiled the nameplate for China Cultural Center in Islamabad on April 20.
The Pakistani China Cultural Center is the second one in south Asia. The center has held a variety of cultural events since its launch in September 2014, including painting exhibitions, Chinese New Year gala, food fairs, tea parties and martial art training. The events were well received by the locals and the media.
The center aims to enhance cultural exchange between the two countries, with events, training sections, information services available to the public.
