Chinese Cycling Association

 

The Chinese Cycling Association (CCA), the only national organization for the cycling sport in China, was established in 1959. Based in Beijing, it is a member of the All-China Sports Federation. In 1979, the CCA join the International Amateur Cycling Federation (IACF), accepting all the rules and regulations (IACF).

The Chinese Cycling Association will work to promote the friendships between the Chinese people, athletes and peoples, athletes all over the world. Also, the CCA aims to increase the popularity of the game and promote success of Chinese cycling sport.

Tasks of the association are:

* to work out development plans, management rules and competition systems of the sport;

* to plan cycling games on a national scale and work out game rules and regulations;

* to organize national and international games;

* to train athletes, judges, coaches and technicians;

* to conduct national cooperation and technical exchanges;

* to select and recommend athletes and coaches for national teams

* to organize the training of the national teams and assist their participation in international games;

* to conduct research programs.

There are the National Committee, the Standing Committee, the General Office, the Foreign Cooperation Department, the Training and Competition Department, the Coaches Committee and the Judges Committee under the organization.
