Chinese Shooting Association

 

The Chinese Shooting Association (CSA), founded in 1956, is a national non-governmental organization based in Beijing. It is a member of the All-China Sports Federation. In 1979, the CSA became a formal member of the International Shooting Sport Federation.

Tasks of the CSA are:

* to promote the progress and ensure further success of China's shooting sport;

* to enhance friendship and exchanges with foreign shooting sport associations;

* to promote public interest in the sport;

* to amend rules on sport shooting competition;

* to select national coaches and judges, and assist the training of these coaches and judges;

* to organize national and international sport shooting games;

* to assist training of China's national shooting team and its participation in international games;

* to conduct exchanges and research programs;

* to publish publications about sport shooting.

There are the National Committee, the Secretariat, the Public Activities Committee, the Coaches Committee, the Judges Committee, the Technical Committee and the Firearms and Ammunition Committee under the CSA.
