Chinese Bridge Association

 

The Chinese Bridge Association (CCBA), a national non-governmental nonprofit organization based in Beijing, was founded in June 1980. It is a member of the All-China Sports Federation. In 1981, it became a formal member of the World Bridge Federation.

Tasks of the CCBA are:

* to study and work out development plan, management rules, and competition systems of bridge;

* to formulate rules and regulations on national bridge competitions;

* to train players, coaches and judges;

* to conduct international exchanges;

* to select, recommend and train national bridge teams and assist their participation in international games;

* to organize and assist organizing national and international games.

There are Association Representatives' Congress, Convention, General Office, Competition Training Department, Marketing Development Department, Competition Committee, News and Publication Committee, Funding Committee, Youth Committee, Theoretical and Technical Research Committee, and Elders Committee under the CCBA.
