Soul of Taihang -- Display of the Ancient Civilization of Jincheng
The Shanxi Jincheng Museum began construction in 1985 and finally finished on December 28, 2002. It is a landmark in the cultural development of Jincheng City.
Located inside the city's Eastern Gate, the museum covers a construction area of 10,000 square meters, featuring Chinese traditional architecture characteristics and blending well with modern styles.
"Soul of Taihang -- Display of the Ancient Civilization of Jincheng" was the first exhibition held by the museum, and contained three special sub-themes: "Essence of History," "Battle of Changping," and "Excavated Tomb Figures."
The exhibition won the Prize of Elaborate Works in the Sixth National Top Ten Museums (2003-2004) competition.
