Guangxi Ethnic Relics Center

 

 
The Guangxi Ethnic Relics Center is adjacent to the Museum of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in Nanning City. Completed in 1988, the Center covers an area of 24,000 square meters. It is a unique outdoor museum that is used to house the relics of various minorities in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

Unique architectures of various minorities such asGanlanof Zhuang nationality, bamboo buildings of the Yao nationality, houses projecting over the water of the Miao nationality, and drum towers and storm-proof bridges of the Dong nationality, are all displayed here. Inside these buildings, the daily use articles and handcrafts are also on display.

In addition, there are restaurants of different minority groups in the bamboo buildings of the center, providing tourists with various delicacies and dishes with special flavors. If you visit there in festivals, you also have the chance to see the beautiful minority's performances there.
