Piano aux Jacobins Festival

The Piano aux Jacobins festival comes back to China for the 9th consecutive year. Famous for the mastery of its selected pianists and the variety of its classical, contemporary, and jazz program, the Piano aux Jacobins festival has managed to create for itself a choice place in the hearts of Chinese music lovers.

The Spirit of Piano - Bordeaux

Established in 2010 in Bordeaux, L'Esprit du Piano (The Spirit of Piano) festival is dedicated to young artists, and since 2011 has been the partner of the Queen Elisabeth Competition of Belgium, one of the three biggest competitions in the world dedicated to young artists.

This project makes it posible to allow young artists of exceptional talent to make history, and thus to look forward to promising young generations.

This year the festival offers an anthology of young pianists of undeniable and surprising talent: Yuri Favorin (Russia, laureate of Queen Elisabeth Competition 2010), Victoria Aja (Spain, Luis Coleman competition 1st Price) and Sheng Song (China, Long- Thibaud competition 1st price). 2013 edition is dedicated to Chopin and his influence on music of 19th and 20th centuries.
