The 2008 Beijing 798 Art Festival began Sept. 28th and will run up until October 18th. This festival invites famous art critic, Wang Lin as the general curator.For one hand, 2008 Beijing 798 Art Festival exhibits the latest Chinese contemporary art achievement through exhibition and forum, for another, this festival assemblies academic power in art field and critic field by organizing various public activities to enhance the public interest in contemporary and makes the contemporary achievement, especially the Chinese contemporary achievement well-know by the public.
“Art is not invariable” is the theme of this activity. The artists participating this activity includes more than 40 artists. It aims at bringing forward the issues of contemporary art.
