Saban Festival

The Saban Festival is a grand ceremony every year, with activities such as dancing, wrestling,horse racing, and many other sports.

 

Easter

Easter is the feast of feasts, and is both the unalloyed joy and gladness of all Christians, celebrating the resurrection of Jesus the Christ, through which humankind is saved from eternal damnation.

 

Nowruz Festival

The Nowruz Festival is celebrated on the vernal equinox (around March 22) and is regarded by the Kazaks as the New Year. On that day, people pay New Year's visits to each other and hold various activities to welcome the New Year.

 

Nadam Festival

In Mongolian the word nadam means "amusement and entertainment, or game," and that is certainly what this festival is all about. It takes place during the seventh or eighth lunar month, "when the livestock have become stout and strong, the meadows are rich, and drinking water abounds."

 

Fast-Breaking Festival

The celebration at the end of Ramadan is called the Festival of Fast-Breaking, or Eid-ul-Fitr in Arabic. It is one of the most important festivals of the Islamic world.

 

Corban Festival

The Corban Festival, also called the Sacrifice Festival, is one of the most important festivals of the Hui, Uygur, Kazak, Ozbek, Tajik, Tatar, Kirgiz, Salar, Dongxiang, and Bonan ethnic minorities and is held every December 10th by Muslims.
