Lijiang Ethnic Culture Industry Project kicks off
Lijiang Ethnic Culture Industry Center, with an estimated investment of 5 billion yuan and an area of one million square meters, opened Monday morning in Lijiang city, Southwest China’s Yunnan province.
Zhang Tianxin, director of Yunnan Provincial Publicity Bureau, Lijiang Mayor He Lianghui and several other provincial and Lijiang municipal government officials attended the ceremony. He Lianghui addressed the audience.
Yunnan Vice governor Gao Feng sent congratulation letters. Lijiang Party Secretary Wang Junzheng sent a congratulatory telegram to the organizer.
The project, funded by Yunnan Culture Investment Group, consists of garden area, forum area and a cultural demonstration zone. Featuring Yunnan’s largest Naxi ethnic group and their traditions and customs, the project mainly focuses on culture and tourism, covering culture meetings and exhibitions, cultural teaching and entertainment.
