布市春节庙会始于2007年，经过数年本土化打造，现已成为南美地区影响力最大的春节庙会和阿国内知名文化品牌，备受阿主流社会和媒体关注。2015年现场民众达50余万，主流媒体报道辐射百万人次。2016年将举办开幕式、龙狮舞拜年、文艺演出、文化集市和焰火表演等活动。该项目纳入“中拉文化交流年”框架内。

应芝加哥交响乐团、底特律交响乐团和马斯卡廷市政府邀请，由文化部组派，中国对外文化集团公司承办，中国广播交响乐团一行50人将于2016年2月19日至26日赴芝加哥、底特律和马斯卡廷举办“欢乐春节”新年音乐会。这将是我第二次与芝加哥交响乐团合作举办新年音乐会。也是我首次在马斯卡廷举办“欢乐春节”活动。
