Xu Lin, CPPCC member and director-general of Confucius Institute, said in an interview that we will accelerate the construction of the “spiritual high iron” at home and abroad, in the next 10 years the Confucius Institute will be the “spiritual high iron” with splendid Chinese traditional culture, extending into other countries and reaching more people, while also making a great contribution to the cultural exchange and harmonious human coexistence across the world.

Xu added that the Confucius Institute features Chinese teaching and the spreading of Chinese civilization, which has been accepted by people from all over the world, influencing 90 percent of the people across outside of China.
