The Dream of Tibet - Qinghai Handmade Tibetan Carpet Art Exhibition, co-hosted by the Culture, Press and Publication Department of Qinghai Province, Tibetan Sheep Carpets Group and Beijing PoloArts International Entertainment Co. Ltd., opened at the Imperial Granary Exhibition Hall and 798 Exhibition Hall on Nov 23.

"The Good Person of Szechwan", a classical drama by German playwright Bertolt Brecht, will be staged at the National Theatre of China in Beijing from Oct 29 to Nov 1, 2014.

The Overseas Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition was held in Beijing to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the establishment of People’s Republic of China from Oct 1-7. It showcased more than 200 exhibits of over 100 ethnic Chinese painters from 50 countries.

The Ministry of Culture cooperated with the China Photographers Association to hold an exhibition, The Arab in the Eyes of the Chinese People, a collection of outstanding works selected from around the country.

On Sept 2, a launching ceremony of the third Arabic Arts Festival co-hosted by China’s Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Secretariat of the League of Arab States was held in the National Centre for the Performing Arts.

A joint exhibition of Cardot's sculptures and Fan Zeng's paintings, Tradition and Innovation, is underway at the National Museum of China.
