The 14th "Meet in Beijing Arts Festival" attracts thousands of people to Chaoyang Park in the capital city of China on May 1. Musicians from different countries give performances to showcase diversified cultures to Chinese people.
The Steel Drum Band from Trinidad and Tobago was one of the highlights of the live shows on May 1. The band is famous in Trinidad as it was the one who extended the warm welcome to Chinese President Xi Jinping and his wife on their state visit to the Caribbean country in 2013.
Launched in 2000, the "Meet in Beijing" Art Festival has invited more than 30 thousand artists from 115 countries to date.
