A Master of Arts and Crafts in Sichuan Province

He worked in Chengdu Shu Brocade Factory from 1982, joined Shujiang Brocade Academy and Chengdu Shu Brocade and Embroidery Museum in 2002, and began to instruct weaving skills from 2003. He mastered all traditional weaving skills of Shu brocade thanks to his over 30 years' experience in the field.

As a master in weaving the masterpieces Dragon Brocade, Children-patterned Brocade and Heavenly Kings' Hunting Brocade, etc., he was woven over 50 works of different dynasties following his studies on duplication such brodcades. He restored the famous brocading skill "shuttle-based swivel" and moreover made remarkable contributions to inheriting and promoting Shu brocade in terms of borcade patterns.
