Chen Jie：Deputy Director of Features Department, China Daily, senior writer. Chen Jie has been a culture and arts reporter since 2000. Her stories cover music, dance, drama and all kinds of performing arts and festivals.

 Her reports have earned awards issued by Ministry of Culture in 2001, 2002 and 2003. In 2008 she followed China Philharmonic Orchestra’s premiere trip to Vatican, which was considered to pave way to establish the political relation ship between China and Vatican. The serial reporting on the historic trip earned China News Award, China's Pulitzer's Prize. She was a visiting scholar to Central Michigan University in fall 2011.
