China International Cartoon and Animation Festival in Hangzhou

A parade of 26 teams and 15 floats created a carnival-style atmosphere for the 9th China International Cartoon and Animation Festival in Hangzhou, East China’s Zhejiang province, April 28, 2013.

The CICAF has been successfully held for 8 consecutive years. The past 8 years saw a substantial growth not only in scale but also in reputation. CICAF is now one of the world’s biggest influential and most attended festivals of its kind.

Highlights:

This year saw the offering of various services of the Chinese animation trading website, such as transaction reservations and discussions on cooperation thus creating a never-ending animation festival.
