Xinhua Gallery in Paris

The Chinese state news agency Xinhua opened a gallery in Paris on June 13, the first in a number planned openings in major world cities, with an inaugural photograpy exhibition tracing 50 years of Sino-French relations.

The photo exhibition marked the 50th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France, jointly organized by Xinhua News Agency and AFP.

The gallery, located at the center of Paris, next to the Elyse Palace, is a high-end art window and cultural showcase platform with an open exhibition hall of more than 400 square meters, with the purpose of giving French visitors a real and comprehensive and in-depth understanding of China.

Highlight: The exhibit was a platform for cultural exchange between China and France set at the cultural center of Europe. The huge investment by China’s biggest news agency gave the event a high degree of significance.
