Chinese Fashion show in Paris

As a part of 2013 Happy Chinese New Year activity, a Chinese fashion show was held at the Chinese Cultural Center in Paris on February 25. Two Chinese designers Chu Yan and Xu Ming showed their work to audiences in the fashion capital. Xu Ming’s 20 pieces featured Chinese jade and cheongsam, showing a perfect combination of Chinese traditional culture and modern art. Made with plant dyed natural materials such as silk and linen, a series of Chinese style clothes fully displayed the concept of environmental protection and health cultivation.

The show aimed at providing a stage for Chinese designers in the spirit of inheritance and innovation, while serving as an important platform to promote Chinese fashion brands with international standards.

Highlight: The design perfectly combined Chinese traditional culture with modern art. And the concept of environmental protection is a hot issue in society.
