The 1st Chinese Embroidery course was held in China Cultural Center in Mauritius from April 11th to May 5th. Mrs. Zhao Guiqin and Mrs. Wang Shuping, two embroidery successors of Ningxia intangible cultural heritage are invited to train students in the course.
On May 24th, the Opening Ceremony for Erhu and Flute Courses were held in the conference room of China Cultural Center. The students attended the ceremony. For the past two years. Two courses in erhu and one in flute were held and are well received by the local people.
Culture plays a vital role in promoting Sino-African relations, President Hu Jintao said Tuesday. Hu has spoken repeatedly of the benefit of cultural exchanges while in Africa, as well as discussing ways to fight the global financial crisis.
