Busy with Installation for ICIF

The installation for the China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF) lasts three days from May 10 to May 12. All of the installation work will be finished before 4 pm on May 12. During the three days, many things have to be done including acoustics debugging, exhibit placing and performance rehearsal as well as exhibition hall installation. Workers are busy with installation work until midnight when the exhibition center is still brightly lit..

The Taiwan hall will put on magnificent performances and bring spectators great surprises again. The Taiwan exhibition group has participated in ICIF for three consecutive years and this year, “culture and technology” elements in Taiwan were first introduced into ICIF. A number of cultural enterprises that have been present in ICIF for three years will continue to exhibit their unique characteristics this year, providing citizens with an opportunity to appreciate creative cultural products in Taiwan.

The exhibition area of Suzhou is delicately designed and has the characteristics of the Lingnan (south of the Five Ridges) culture. Many traditional elements representing Suzhou have been included such as flower window, revetment, ancient town, water village and folding fan. The Suzhou exhibition area is dedicated to showcasing its internationally influential cultural industry and creating a new image of “a humane Suzhou and an intellectual city”.
