China International Instrument Exposition is a lively grand exposition, which focuses on the display, publication and promotion of the brands of musical instruments. The 2009 fair featured 1164 exhibitors from 24 countries and regions. Its floor area had been up to 65,000 square meters till then. The 2010 fair, in addition to keep its traditional lines, is to face more comprehensive purchasers and to put forward thematic events, e.g. digital music, CMIA Piano Firm Forum, and Top Specialists Forum, covering subjects like acoustics, materials of instruments, processing means and industry upgrade.
