Start of Autumn indicates the beginning of autumn! Given the clinical characteristics of the autumn dryness fever, people have to raise their awareness of disease prevention during this period, to adapt to the climate change and keep healthy against the autumn dryness! Temperatures in autumn vary greatly between the day and night, and thus people need to pay attention to the amount of clothes they wear, avoid using air-conditioning or fans all the time, keep warm as the weather is gradually becoming cold, adjust diet and maintain emotional equilibrium! Easily digested and light diet with plenty of nutrition such as tremella, fruit and ginseng is advisable in early autumn! The elder and people with hypertension need to be cautious of the stroke triggered by the agitated emotion! Moderate physical activities, for instance morning exercises, taijiquan and therapeutic massage can help strengthen resistance!

Having a bowl of porridge in the morning after the Start of Autumn can prevent the autumn-dryness fever! Recommended porridges: corn flour and potato porridge, sweet potato porridge, sesame porridge, Chinese date and glutinous rice porridge!
