Bangladesh is a land of natural beauty with a rich and vast diversity of cultural heritage. Throughout the centuries Bangladeshi people practiced communal harmony and upheld spirit of humanity in every sphere of their life. An ancient Bangladeshi poet says firmly “Human is the highest order and nothing beyond this”.

Bangladeshi people are peace loving, at the same time struggling and resilient. They had to face aggressions throughout the ages. But they fought them out bravely. Finally, they earned independence in 1971 sacrificing millions. Despite all odds, Bangladesh is now advancing forward to attain a new era of economical and cultural emancipation.
