At the site of the “You In Greece” show

THE Greece Pavilion held a tourism exhibition "You In Greece" at the Shanghai Library. As an event held for Expo Shanghai 2010, it was undertaken jointly by the Greek Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Greek National Tourism Organization.

Greek Culture and Tourism Minister Pavlos Geroulanos attended the opening ceremony. He said that China and Greece represent the oldest culture for the east and the west. The event aims to show a charming scenic Greece to China. He hoped Greece could be an important destination for Chinese tourists.

Visitors enjoyed Greece's famous scenery and architecture through 3D pictures. Relics of ancient Olympic Games were also on display.

Two forums were held during the exhibition to discuss topics of sustainable tourism and urban development.

The free exhibition ended on Sep 3.

The name of the mascot of World Expo 2010 Shanghai China is Hai Bao, which means the treasure of the sea.

The emblem, depicting the image of three people-you, me, him/her holding hands together, symbolizes the big family of mankind.

The theme of Expo 2010 is "Better City, Better Life," representing the common wish of the whole humankind for a better living in future urban environments.
