Expo Online, which offers people a virtual tour of the Expo site in Shanghai, received an award at the 2010 China Internet Conference.
The online platform is an innovation in the 159-year history of the World Expo. It allows people around the world to explore all the pavilions by clicking the mouse.
Since it opened on May 1, more than 57 million people have browsed the virtual World Expo as of August 15. Its passport stamps and lucky draws are popular among visitors.
The 2010 China Internet Conference focused on Internet service and its furture development. It opened yesterday in Beijing and will conclude tomorrow.
