Equatorial Guinea celebrated its National Pavilion Day yesterday with songs and dances.
The exhibition of Equatorial Guinea at the Joint Africa Pavilion, features "Sustainable Beauty of the City" as its theme. It explores ways to reach a balance between urban development and ecologcial preservation in the process of urbanization.
There are three sections in the exhibition -- "Seaside Scenery," "Energy Exploitation and Utilization" and "Urban Future."
Entering the pavilion, visitors will see the country's beautiful Bioko Island, Benito River, and Pico Basile Mountain where the statue of Saint Mary witnessed the independence of Equatorial Guinea.
