Province of Fujian

The Zhangzhou Puppet Show Troupe, created more than thirty years ago in Zhangzhou, now has more than fifty members. It has performed many shows in the Chinese capital, throughout the country, and abroad. It is composed, among others, of fifteen members of the Chinese Theatre Association and the Fujian Theatre Association. The Zhangzhou puppets have already visited Rumania, Russia, France, Indonesia, Australia, the United States, Mongolia, Switzerland, Canada, Hungary, Japan, etc.
