Born in Shanghai in 1940, HUANG Shuqin is graduated from the Beijing Film Academy. Huang excels in the art of illustrating the great themes of everyday life and ordinary people. Her best known films are Hi Frank! (2002), Soul of a Painter (1994) and Woman Human Demon (1987).
