China in Cartoons

Cartoons, caricatures and humorist drawings are an ideal way to illustrate the culture of a country and the day-to-day life of its inhabitants. The exhibition, with approximately 200 cartoons by the top cartoonists of China, intends to increase public awareness of the high quality of the work of Chinese cartoonists and to reflect the diversity of styles. At the same time, the exhibition offers an opportunity to have an overview of Chinese culture and to make comparisons with our European cartoons. Texts, sound and visual material will also be presented, in order to show a complete overview of Chinese cartoons.
