Sun Wei, director of Sculpture Study Institution, General Academy of Fine Arts, said,"This exhibition is a retrospect of China’s contemporary sculptures. After two years of preparation, we have over four hundred pieces, the best representatives of each period."

The exhibition will last through December, and a series of academic forums and seminars will be held.
