Immediately, the Ministry of Culture sent the first team of artists to perform in Kashi and Kezilesu Kirgiz Autonomous Prefecture, formally started the work of supporting Xinjiang culturally.

It is an important part of the work of supporting Xinjiang culturally to have famous artists forming teams to carry out performances in Xinjiang since it reflects the dear concern of the Party Central Committee, State Council and the whole nation for Xinjiang people, and the extreme kindness of writers and artists across the country to Xinjiang people.

Zhang Kaihua, deputy director of Department of Arts, said that apart from the performances by a team of artists in Kashi and Artux, the Ministry of Culture will organize another team of artists to perform in Xinjiang. Zhang also said that organizing artists to perform in Xinjiang will become a regular activity, and the purpose is only one, that is to send the care of the Party and government to Xinjiang people.
