Art Exhibition Luxury with French Flair

An exhibition of Ji Dahai, a Chinese ink artist, poet and calligrapher, opened on April 10 at Sofitel Luxury Hotels in Xi’an, Shaanxi Province and runs through April 24.

Born in 1968, Ji Dahai studied paintings at early age from his older brother Ji Yunfei, a Brooklyn-based Chinese artist. From 1986 to 1990, he majored in French at the University of Foreign Languages in Beijing. Later, he went to France and produced paintings featuring a combination of Chinese and French styles.

In recent years, Ji has been invited to have solo exhibitions in different cities of France and China. At the ongoing exhibition at Sofitel, a worldwide hotel brand famous for its luxurious French flair, he presents to the public about a region of France famous for its living, art and landscapes.
