Calligraphy on Yellow Emperor’s Four Cannons Exhibited in Beijing

A calligraphy exhibition of Duan Geshu was held at the assembly hall of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference from February 20 to 22. The exhibits mainly consist of gold-ink calligraphy work titled “Yellow Emperor’s Four Canons (Huangdi Sijing)” by Duan Geshu, a National First Class Calligrapher.

Huangdi Sijing

The Yellow Emperor is considered the ancestor of Chinese, yet few know his most influential work is the long-lost “Yellow Emperor’s Four Cannons,” also known as the Huang-Lao Silk Texts, in association with the "Huang-Lao" philosophy named after the legendary Huangdi (The Yellow Emperor) and Laozi (Master Lao).
