Polish the brand of Laozihao

Throughout the years, Quanjude dishes have been greatly enriched due to development and innovation. With its long history, Quanjude roast duck enjoys a high reputation among domestic and overseas consumers for the peculiar roast technique and outstanding quality.

The foundation of the ChinaBeijingQuanjude Group on May 20th of 1993 ushered in a new era for Quanjude. The Group set its developing strategy as taking advantage of the Quanjude brand and expanding the business by scaling, modernizing, and franchising, with quality playing the crucial role.

Since the strategy's implementation, Quanjude's business has been booming, and more positive benefits are being brought to the image of the old renowned brand. Currently, the group has over 60 company-owned and franchised restaurants in China. The annual sales reaches 500 million yuan; the number of roast duck annually sold amounts tp over 2 million; and guests annually entertained top 5 million. The group is listed as one of the largest food service enterprises in China with 600 million yuan of assets and 700 million yuan of intangible assets. (Maybe add a dollar equivalent somewhere)

Quanjude has realized that without innovation there would be neither development nor vitality. Over the years, the Quanjude Restaurant has created new dishes to meet the tastes of its wide range of customers. There are now Quanjude restaurants throughout the country and the group offers local dishes from various localities in addition to its famous Beijing specialties.

The Quanjude Group has developed a system of scientifically standardized management and legal guarantees for its chain operation. It has also implemented a corporate identification system of standardized trademarks, uniforms, decor, and equipment. To build an effective distribution system for its chain operation, the group has set up its own distribution center, managed according to international standards, and was awarded ISO9001 certification in 2000. Unified distribution of main raw materials -- ducks, lotus leaf-shaped cakes, and sauce -- has now superseded the century-old hand operation mode.

The standardized management also paved the way for Quanjude's international enlargement. The group has formally registered nine Quanjude trademarks for 97 items in 25 categories, and its trademark is registered in 29 countries and regions, including the United States, Japan, France, Germany, Britain, Russia, Canada, Australia, Italy, and China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. The Quanjude trademark is thus protected both at home and abroad.
