The scaling ladder chariot is different from a simple scaling ladder that is usually seen in movies. It usually has a shield, a winch (for raising up the ladder), and some tools, like grapnel, for climbing the city wall.
Sai Men Dao Che (knife chariot that stuffs the gate) is the improved Sai Men Che. The chariot is hard to scale, and is also a movable bulwark (rampart).
